[Information] Important : To Our U.S. Customers – About the New U.S. Tariff Policy

📢 Latest Update – April 24, 2025

To our U.S. customers:

Currently, "Made in China" items are temporarily removed from our shop. Therefore, if your total order is within $800, it should not be subject to import tariffs.

(If unexpected things happens and a tariff is charged, we will provide a refund of up to $150 as a temporary support measure.)

We hope the situation improves soon and we will resume selling China-made items once it becomes feasible again,Please follow our social media posts for future updates!

To our U.S. Customers, we’d like to explain how the recent U.S. tariff changes may affect your orders from our store.

✅ The $800 duty-free rule is still active

The U.S. still allows duty-free imports under $800 per day, and this rule is currently still valid for orders from Japan. So, most orders under $800 should not be charged any tariffs.

⚠️ From May 2 2025: China-made items will lose duty-free status

Starting May 2, 2025, the U.S. will remove the duty-free rule for all China-made items, no matter which country they are shipped from. This means even small orders under $800 may be charged if the items are made in China.

Unfortunaltey many products of Japanese companies (Sanrio, etc..), are made in China, since their manufacturing is done at factories in China.

It is not yet clear how strictly these new rules will be enforced for small personal purchases. However, the current tariff rate for China-made items is very high, and paying such duties may not be realistic.

To help you shop with peace of mind, we will take the following temporary actions:

🛍 Our response

From April 25, we will remove all China-made items from our store.
This means that after this date, orders under $800 will not include China-made products and should not be taxed. We will update this if the situation changes (we hope to bring them back in the future!).
Temporary support: up to $150 refund (just in case)
In principle, we believe no tariff will be charged. But just in case something unexpected happens, we will refund up to $150 if your order is taxed. Please send us your payment receipt (e.g. FedEx invoice). This is a limited-time policy.

Please note that due to this change, some items you are looking for may no longer appear in our store...However, many items from San-X, especially Plush Toys are not made in China, so they should still be available,,,we appreciate your understanding.
